Accion Fraterna has established Two LMV Driving Schools one at Anantapur, another one at Kalyandurg with an objective of to provide quality based comprehensive skilled Training to Educated unemployed youth in all 8 rural mandals of Anantapur District, so as to enable them to get better employment / Self employment, to help them to enhance their economic status and improve their quality of life.

AF is committed to provide not only a skilled driver but also training to the candidates to become a good social being.

Well equipped infrastructure with latest, sectionized models, Audio visual aids, wall charts etc has been provided to inculcate the update knowledge.

The course curriculum has been prepared as recommended by the transport department. Additional Syllabus like Spoken English, Personality Development and first-aid subjects are also added to the curriculum.

Theory and practical subjects are being taught on various working system of Automobile vehicles. Driving practice is being imparted in three types of light motor vehicles, keeping in view their placement after completion of the training.

So far 15 batches have been trained at both centres out of which 362 candidates have undergone training.

As a part of upgrading the Driving School the “Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving” course also being introduced which is likely to commence from February 2011 onwards.

As the programme linked with rehabilitation of rural youth the ITES trade (Information Technology Enabled Services) has started at Kalyandurg skilled training centre to encourage boys & girls.
